New safety feature on the 2025 Chevy Blazer EV.

Chevrolet turns the page on the once sluggish and fuel-thirsty mid-size SUV segment with the new generation of Blazer models. The lineup’s newest addition, the all-electric 2025 Chevy Blazer EV, offers breathtaking acceleration, a reliable driving range, and a futuristic-looking design.

Unveiling the 2025 Chevy Blazer EV: Electrifying Style

All-Electric Powertrain

Built on GM’s innovative and flexible battery platform, the Blazer EV allows buyers to choose from a wide selection of FWD, RWD, and AWD drive systems. The base LT model is powered by a single electric motor mounted on the front axle, generating 220 hp and 243 lb-ft of torque. Drivers seeking extra traction in slippery conditions can opt for the dual-motor AWD configuration, which increases the output to 300 hp and 355 lb-ft of torque.

The RS trim offers a fun-to-drive RWD configuration with 365 hp and 325 lb-ft of torque. Meanwhile, the top-of-the-line SS trim level leaves every other model in the dust with its performance dual-motor setup, generating a net 615 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque. Channeling its horses for an explosive launch with Wide Open Watts, the Chevy Blazer EV SS sprints to 60 mph in just 3.4 seconds.

Reliable Driving Range

The base Blazer EV provides up to 312 miles of driving range, which means that daily commuters can get by with charging the SUV once a week. The AWD model trades some of the SUV’s efficiency for performance, offering a still reliable 283 miles when fully charged. The RS RWD configuration, on the other hand, covers an impressive 334 miles on a single charge, topping the lineup in driving range.

Blazer EV drivers have access to over 250,000 public chargers, which includes over 20,000 Tesla Superchargers. When the SUV’s battery is running low, you can locate the nearest charging station using the myChevrolet mobile app, or you can plug the vehicle in at home with a GM Energy PowerShift Charger.

Head-Turning Appearance

Sporting aerodynamic curves and a futuristic-looking front fascia, the Blazer EV’s design immediately catches the eye. The base model features sleek LED headlamps, LED daytime running lamps, and 19-inch machine-face aluminum wheels. Drivers can choose from six monotone and eight two-tone exterior paints to customize the SUV’s appearance.

Moving up to the RS and SS models, each trim level spices up the SUV’s appearance with its distinct design cues. For instance, the RS model features an illuminated front light bar, a black bowtie emblem, 21-inch wheels, a black-painted grille, and gloss black rocker molding, giving the SUV an athletic look.
