One of the most popular electric trucks, the 2025 Chevy Silverado EV suits environmentally conscious adventurers and drivers with lots of things to haul or tow. Four-wheel drive is standard across the lineup, and two battery packs make it easy to find the right configuration for you.
2025 Chevy Silverado EV Performance
Chevy’s 2025 Silverado EV is made for heavy-duty hauling and towing and comes with a powertrain designed for robust performance. Under the hood, GM’s Ultium Extended Range battery pack pairs with one front and one rear motor in a system that churns out up to 765 horsepower and 645 lb-ft of torque, delivering a towing capacity of 12,500 lbs, which is enough for most purposes.
Performance upgrades boost the net output to 785 lb-ft of torque in the upper RST trim. This model delivers quicker acceleration and more spirited driving dynamics on and off the road, with a 0-60 mph time of about 4.1 seconds.
Range to Take You Places
Whether you opt for the standard Extended Range battery or the available Max Range, the new Silverado EV can take you far. In the base setup, this model delivers 408 miles of range per charge.
The more spirited RST model boasts 390 miles per charge with the Extended Range battery and up to 460 miles of range with the higher capacity battery. Both batteries are fast-charging capable and can be charged at over 230,000 public charging stations nationwide.
Upscale Comfort and Convenience
While most pickup trucks are more about utility, the 2025 Silverado EV doesn’t compromise on comfort. Its crew cab boasts an SUV-like interior with plenty of room for passengers in both rows. The front bucket seats include 12-way adjustments with driver’s seat memory for optimized back and lumbar support. Heated and ventilated front seats and heated second-row seats are standard, while a 60/40 split-fold rear bench adds convenience.
The bed boasts a six-function Multi-Flex tailgate for easier bed access and seamless loading and unloading. A Multi-Flex midgate with a passthrough is available, allowing you to expand the bed behind the front seats to transport long items.
Smart Tech Features
The 2025 Silverado EV’s modern interior is packed with technologies, including a 17.7-inch center touchscreen with Google built-in compatibility. Built-in navigation is standard, advanced voice commands make it easy to access all the various settings and functions, and you can create a user profile to customize your user experience and save your settings.
Convenience technologies are abundant and include a universal home remote that allows you to control your home’s security system or garage door from the comfort of your truck. In-vehicle connectivity also comes standard.
