The Colorado has a 2.7L TurboMax engine that’s paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission to deliver 310 horsepower with 430 lb.-ft. of torque. The Colorado’s TurboMax engine maximizes responsiveness while providing diesel-like low-end torque to give you top-tier performance. This engine has an inline 4-cylinder arrangement that offers a symmetrical natural turbo placement, with large cylinders that feed into an equal-length integrated exhaust.

Exterior and Capabilities

The 2025 Colorado comes in several different bold colors, including Reef Blue Metallic, Radiant Red Tintcoat, Harvest Bronze Metallic, and Sterling Gray Metallic. The WT base trim comes with 17-inch ultra silver wheels and all-season tires, while the highest trim, the ZR2, comes with 17-inch wheels and 33-inch mud-terrain tires. Available exterior features include up to 17 cargo tie-downs and a StowFlex tailgate that includes a small storage compartment.

The Colorado is best-in-class in both bed and tailgate functionality and ground clearance, with an up to 4.5-inch lift that makes it a perfect option for off-roading. Depending on the trim, you can alternate between up to five different drive modes for enhanced performance. These modes include Normal, Off-Road, Terrain, Baja, and Tow/Haul.

Seating and Interior

The 2025 Colorado has seating for up to five passengers, with two front bucket seats and a split-folding rear bench seat. The front center console has a covered storage compartment and cupholders, while the 11-inch fully-digital driver information center displays your mileage, speed, fuel consumption, and engine warnings. The Colorado LT and all higher trims have an available wireless charging pad for compatible devices.

The new Chevy Colorado has an 11.3-inch diagonal center touchscreen equipped with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration. Once you’ve paired your phone to the truck, you can use voice activation to make hands-free phone calls or send text messages while driving.

This touchscreen also comes with Google built-in, which turns your truck into a mobile personal assistant. Google built-in has a variety of features, including Maps for real-time GPS navigation, Assistant for creating calendars and scheduling appointments, and Play for downloading apps to your truck.

Safety and Collision-Avoidance

The Chevy Safety Assist package acts as a second pair of eyes in your new Colorado, using radar sensors and digital cameras to monitor your path at all times.
